HALO2Go had another great year thanks to all of you!
Several new young women will attend college next year thanks to HALO scarf and purse sales. They come from 2 orphanage centers outside of Luang Prabang, Laos and will study finance, agriculture and accounting.
We partnered with Shiree Pilkington, in Australia who runs many projects, https://www/facebook.com/apotofcourage/
to help refugee and immigrant women to assimilate in their new country, share their skills and build new livelihoods in Australia. https://www.ittakescourage.org.au/. Halo2go designed aprons for their cooking school and also cases for Bamboo straws from Laos. Helping others and helping the environment is very rewarding.
The Luang Prabang Special Education Center for the Deaf introduced us to 6 new women women who sew after school and have a local craft center as well to promote their fine work. FB: luang prabang special education handicraft school shop
KarlSchool https://www.karlschool.org/%E9%A6%96%E9%A0%81 in Taiwan, opened a high school to combine Canadian, Taiwanese, and new creative approaches to education to help better prepare the students here for their futures. HALO's are given as gifts to the staff and new students!
Halo2GO Japan sponsored new women for college from sales of HALO's for Dogs. https://fujiyakuten.com/dogblessyou-kampo. HALO's look great on dogs!
HALOS traveled to 15+ countries around the world, and many states and provinces in the US and Canada. THANK YOU for your support. We hope 2019 will triple and more women & men will be empowered and educated.
May the HALOs be with you and bring secure travel, fun fashion and prosperity for 2019!
